Avalon Golf and Country Club is an equal opportunity employer.   Cosmetologists Must possess a current cosmetology license in the state of Pennsylvania. Applicant must be neat in appearance and have strong organizational skills.   Cart Attendant Seasonal position with duties to include cleaning golf carts and members’ golf clubs, verifying member tickets and monitoring tee times as needed. Golf knowledge a plus.   Fitness Attendant Duties will include answering the phone at the fitness desk, checking in members, taking reservations for various fitness classes, scheduling some spa appointments, maintaining a clean and safe environment in the fitness room and assisting members as needed. Applicants must be neat in appearance, have strong organizational skills and computer knowledge.   Golf Course Laborer Seasonal position with duties to include mowing, raking sand traps, maintaining flower beds and lawn care maintenance as required.   Lifeguard Certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR for Professional Rescuer, First Aid. Seasonal position will be responsible for the safety of pool patrons by preventing accidents and responding quickly to emergency situations. Applicant must know and be able to perform all skills required for certifications; must routinely check pool samples for optimal water chemistry balance; must follow and enforce pool policies and rules at all times; perform routine maintenance to pool and pool area, i.e., vacuum, pick up trash, etc.; must be able to verbally communicate effectively with both members and staff.   Locker Room Attendant Duties will include maintaining a clean and neat environment in the locker rooms, including cleaning restrooms, showers, towels, members’ shoes and other duties as required.   Manicurists Must possess a current manicurist license in the state of Pennsylvania. Applicant must be neat in appearance and have strong organizational skills.   Pool Attendant Seasonal position with duties to include checking in members and guests to the pool area and assisting members as needed. Must follow and enforce pool policies and rules at all times; perform routine maintenance to pool and pool area, i.e., vacuum, pick up trash, etc.; must occasionally check pool samples for optimal water chemistry balance; must be able to verbally communicate effectively with both members and staff. Applicants must be neat in appearance, have strong organizational skills and computer knowledge.   Tennis Attendant Duties will include answering the phone in the tennis center, taking reservations for tennis classes and lessons, maintaining and grooming the tennis courts and assisting members as needed. Applicants must be neat in appearance, have strong organizational skills and computer knowledge. Tennis knowledge is a plus.
